How do you determine the price of my move?
The price will be determined by either the size (cubic feet) or the weight (lbs) of the goods that will be moved.
Is insurance included in the quotation?
Yes our insurance is included in the quotation and it covers 60 cents per pound per article. Full coverage insurance can be purchased by the customer.
Who would be my point of contact throughout the move?
Our specialized customer service representatives will guide you through the steps when moving.
What is the procedure if I need to move more (or less) than specified during the moving day?
If the customer needs more (or less) goods, there will be a revised estimate that will be written and proceed as customer desires.
Do you have a moving checklist I can use?
Yes we do offer a checklist for customers to use that will be handed to you when you request a quote.
Can I pack my own things?
Yes you can, but we advise that you stick to personal effects such as clothing and books, and leave the more complicated things (like furniture and fragile items) to the experts. Be aware that owner-packed goods may not be approved for insurance cover, and that if you pack yourself you will nonetheless need to leave the boxes open so that we can check they are packed correctly and then add their contents to your inventory.
What time do the crew start and finish?
Our crew has two shifts during the day; one in the morning and one in the evening. Time will be set based on the schedule and you will be informed earlier with it.
Do I need to be at the property all day whilst the crew are there?
We advise you to stay at the property in the moving day. However, if you cannot make it, you should assign a representative to take your place. Customer/representative must be present at signing.
How many crew members will pack my shipment?
Our crew members are:

Can I stay in my property during the pack?
Yes; if you make us aware you will still be living in your property, our crews will leave all your essential items and pack them on the final day.
How will my goods be shipped?
The method of shipment will entirely rely on an 18-wheeler truck to your desired destination.
How do I know when my goods will be delivered?
You will be contacted by the customer service once your items are loaded. The driver will also call you with an estimated ETA and 24 hours before they arrive.
How long does it take to unpack my goods?
The duration of the unpacking process completely depends on the size of the move.
What happens if something is damaged in transit?
We have a very low rate of in-transit damage, but should an ‘act of God’ befall your shipment, simply get in touch with us, since we provide insurance for your move.

Is there a time limit on making a claim for damaged/lost items?
As a condition precedent to recovery, a claim for loss, damage, must be filed in writing directly with CSI at www.CSIPros.org within nine (9) months after the move.
