Welcome to Brooklyn Moving Inc (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://brooklynmovinginc.com/ and any related content, features, or services (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

1. Nature of our service

1.1 Marketplace, not a moving company

Brooklyn Moving Inc operates an online moving marketplace and information platform. We are not a moving carrier and do not own trucks, crews, or warehouses. We do not transport, store, or handle your belongings.

1.2 Connecting users with independent movers

The Site helps users discover and connect with independent third-party moving companies and related service providers (collectively, “Movers”). We may provide:

Listings and profiles of Movers
Tools for submitting quote or information requests
General pricing guidance and educational content
Reviews, ratings, and other information to help you compare options

Any moving, packing, storage, or related services are provided solely by the Movers you choose to work with, under their own terms and conditions.

1.3 No guarantee of outcomes

We aim to present helpful information, but we do not guarantee:

The availability, price, timing, or quality of any moving service
That a specific Mover will accept your job
That your experience with any Mover will meet your expectations

Your decision to hire a Mover and your relationship with that Mover are entirely your own responsibility.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Site only if:

You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), and
You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, and
You use the Site in compliance with these Terms and with all applicable laws and regulations.

If you use the Site on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. Use of the Site

3.1 Personal and internal business use

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the Site is provided for your personal or internal business use in planning moves, comparing Movers, and requesting information. Any commercial use (such as scraping data for resale or building competing services) is prohibited.

3.2 Accounts (if applicable)

If the Site allows or requires you to create an account:

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account.
You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we believe violate these Terms.

3.3 Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity
Submit false, misleading, or incomplete information in quote or contact forms
Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers (for example, by introducing malware or running automated scripts that overload the service)
Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Site without our prior written consent
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Site, except where permitted by law

We may, in our discretion, restrict or terminate your access to all or part of the Site if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

4. Quotes, leads, and interactions with movers

4.1 Quote and information requests

When you submit a quote or information request on the Site, you authorize us to:

Collect and process the contact and move details you provide, and
Share that information with one or more Movers or related service providers that appear to match your route and needs.

Those Movers may then contact you directly (by phone, email, SMS, or other means) to provide estimates, ask follow-up questions, or offer services.

4.2 No binding offers from us

Any prices, ranges, or estimates presented on the Site, or generated based on your inputs, are for informational purposes only. They are not binding offers from Brooklyn Moving Inc or from any Mover. Final pricing, services, and terms are determined exclusively between you and the Mover.

4.3 Independent relationship with movers

ny contract, agreement, or transaction for moving, packing, storage, or related services is strictly between you and the Mover. Brooklyn Moving Inc is not a party to those agreements and does not:

Set or control Movers’ prices, fees, or policies
Supervise or manage Movers’ employees or subcontractors
Provide insurance, valuation coverage, or claims handling for your belongings

Questions about services, timing, claims, or billing must be resolved directly with your chosen Mover.

4.4 No endorsement or verification guarantee

We may display information, rankings, or reviews about Movers, and we may choose to highlight certain Movers based on our own criteria. This does not mean we endorse any Mover or guarantee their performance, safety, compliance, or suitability for your specific move. You should independently verify licensing, insurance, and reputation and make your own decision.

4.5 Disputes with movers

Any dispute, damage claim, service issue, or billing disagreement regarding a move must be handled directly between you and the Mover. We are not responsible for resolving disputes and are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your dealings with Movers or other third parties.

5. User content

5.1 What counts as user content

The Site may allow you to post, submit, or transmit content such as:

Reviews, ratings, or feedback about Movers or our platform
Comments, questions, or suggestions
Other text, images, or materials

(collectively, “User Content”).

5.2 Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree that it will not:

Be false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise unlawful
Violate any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
Contain personal information about others without their consent
Constitute spam, advertising, or solicitation unrelated to the Site

We may, but are not required to, monitor, edit, or remove User Content at our discretion.

5.3 License you grant to us

By submitting User Content, you grant Brooklyn Moving Inc a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display that content in any media, in connection with operating and promoting the Site and our services.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.

6. Intellectual property

6.1 Our content

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and design (collectively, the “Content”), is owned by or licensed to Brooklyn Moving Inc and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We do not control and are not responsible for:

The content or accuracy of third-party sites
The products, services, or practices of any third party

8. Disclaimers

8.1 General disclaimer

The Site and all Content, information, and services available through it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement
Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of the Site or any Content
Warranties that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or harmful components

8.2 Movers and other third parties

We do not control and are not responsible for:

Any actions, omissions, services, or conduct of Movers or other third parties
Any damage, loss, or injury arising from your interactions or contracts with Movers or other third parties
Any information provided directly by Movers on their own websites or in their materials

Your dealings with Movers and other third parties are solely between you and them.

8.3 No professional advice

Content on the Site is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, insurance, or other professional advice. You should consult appropriate professionals for advice specific to your situation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Brooklyn Moving Inc or its owners, officers, employees, contractors, or agents be liable for any:

Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or
Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses

arising out of or in connection with:

Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Site
Any conduct or content of Movers or other third parties
Any contracts or transactions between you and Movers
Any content or information obtained through the Site

In all cases, our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) or the amount you paid to us (if any) in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Brooklyn Moving Inc and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

Your use or misuse of the Site
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of a third party
Any disputes or issues between you and any Mover or other third party

We reserve the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any claim arising out of or related to the Site or these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after the cause of action arose, or such claim is permanently barred.

12. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, with or without notice.

We may also revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. In some cases, we may provide additional notice (for example, by posting a banner on the Site).

By continuing to use the Site after the revised Terms become effective, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Site.

13. Termination

We may, in our sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or terminate your access to the Site, in whole or in part, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Site will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply.
